Design Brief:
Create two separate bathrooms that increase functionality and smarter storage solutions while keeping the main house aesthetic of classic, clean white and blue without repetition. Incorporating a larger walk-in shower where the design allows it to feel more open and a bathtub for a relaxing soak that also functions as a second shower for guests. And we haven't forgotten.. New toilets!

Ensuite Bathroom

Functional Design Goals: 

• Increase space and functionality for Nancy and Jeff 
• Spacious walk-in shower
• Well appointed storage solutions
• Easy to maintain

Aesthetic Design Goals:

• Clean and fresh blue bathroom with high contrasting, beautiful finishes.

Key Design Features:

• Dark navy blue floor tile contrasting with the soft, pale blue wall tile.
• White with subtle blue vanity countertop extending full length of room.
  • Product ledge in shower
  • Ledge above toilet for decor, product, toilet paper, etc.
• Intentionally placed shower fixtures for easy access and entry.
• Chrome shower and vanity hardware.
• Pale blue painted recessed storage speaking to the pale blue of wall tile.

Guest Bathroom

Functional Design Goals: 

• Closed linen storage.
• Comfortable bathtub with shower function.
• Create separation between toilet and bath without a solid wall or solid pane of glass
• Easy to maintain

Aesthetic Design Goals:

• Create a warm and relaxing environment for a calming soak at the end of the day. 

Key Design Features:

• Simple tub insert base.
• Partition ​​entirely tiled for added durability with storage niche and window between bath and toilet.
• Brushed nickle shower head, hand held, tub filler and cabinetry hardware.
• French glass doors for beautiful symmetry and waterproofing.
• Custom vanity 
  • Open under sink for laundry basket
  • Cabinet & cubby for basket on top of vanity for daily items
  • Custom glass mirror to fill wall above sink for easy cleaning. This helps make the vanity area feel bigger and more open. 
• Custom millwork storage
  • Plenty of drawers for makeup, products, etc.
  • Bypass doors above for even more intentional hidden storage.
• Toilet Nook
  • ​Custom wood wall mounted toilet paper holder.
  • Wall sconce above an art piece to mirror vanity
• Creamy, subtle floor tile to compliment the warm neutral walls and trim to create a relaxing and inviting bathroom.
